For our client - fintech company - Digital Point-of-sale Finance (“dPOSF”) and Buy Now Pay Later (“BNPL”) services provider, we are looking for a Business Development Manager, in Bucharest.


Developing the merchant partner network to promote the company’s services;
Attracting and signing new merchant partners to use and promote the company (presenting the solutions, added value and advantages to potential merchant partners, selling the company's services, concluding and processing the necessary documentation);
Managing the relationship with an existing portfolio of key merchant partners;
Developing and owning a healthy monthly B2B sales funnel;
Cold calling to qualify leads and convert leads into deals; actively making contacts (inbound and outbound) with existing customers and new prospects;
Managing the existing portfolio of merchant partners, developing the merchant partner network and promoting the company’s services, maintaining the existing customer database, and developing new growth opportunities with existing partners;
Using the company CRM to manage all activities and communications with customers and prospects;
Conducting research to identify new business opportunities;
Acting as an ambassador at trade shows, exhibitions and local business networks;
Providing merchants implementation support together with the team;
Fulfilling the action plan to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets in terms of sales, relationship management, consumer acquisition and others, collaborating with the Head of Sales;
Actively proposing and cooperating in internal product development and service improvement projects;
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on deliverables, merchant partner portfolio development and market development,
Implementing company's best practices for POS activities (for example: communication, marketing, consumer journey) with merchant partners, to optimize proper and responsible use of consumer loans.


University degree (preferably in economics, business, or similar);
3+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales and relationship management (for example specific experience from retail financial services or retail/e-commerce B2B sales, sales of POS devices and systems to mid-market retailers or experience from financial institutions working with SMEs);
Good understanding of B2B Sales, CRM processes, and organization (existing B2B network of retail prospects would be an advantage);
Upper intermediate level of English;
At least a basic understanding of personal finance, consumer loans, e-commerce, digital payments ecosystems, retail banking, credit card business, fintech;
Hands-on attitude with proven ability to achieve goals and plans, and work in a fully independent and responsible manner;
Driver`s license (B) and willingness to travel.
