For our client, one of Europe’s leading companies in the areas of perfumery, cosmetics and health premium products, we are looking for a Category Manager.
Managing the brands in assigned category, including forecasting, merchandising, profitability and planograms;
Negotiating with suppliers, providing conclusions of the commercial conditions and bringing new suppliers into the company’s portfolio;
Monitoring profitability and following up with reports towards brands and suppliers;
Coordinating floor planning, merchandising updates (new openings, furniture) and store visits;
Cooperating with other departments, such as supply chain, commercial, trade marketing and ecommerce to ensure delivery of results in specific KPIs.
Excellent English, German is a plus;
Advanced knowledge in Excel, Power Point and SAP;
Strong knowledge of the market and cosmetic trends and experience in working with assortment;
Strong communication, negotiation, organization and time management skills;
Strong team player with proven ability to build trust and be highly credible across levels of the organization with a strong sense of ownership.
