For our client, specialized in distribution and logistics services, we are recruiting a Transport Dispatcher.
Description
Identifying and managing transportation opportunities;
Maintaining and developing relationships with customers and carriers;
Planning, coordinating and monitoring transport operations;
Managing transport orders and related documentation;
Monitoring costs, routes and compliance with delivery schedules.
Requirements
Having a minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation and/or logistics;
Working with freight exchange platforms such as TIMOCOM, TRANS.EU and the Romanian Commodities Exchange (BRM);
Planning transport routes and organizing load consolidation ;
Understanding transport legislation, drivers’ working and driving time regulations, the CMR Convention and ADR regulations;
Knowing the transportation market and road network in Romania;
Demonstrating strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills;
Holding a Transport Manager Certification being considered an advantage.
