For our client, a global leader in electric motors and industrial drive systems, we are recruiting a Technical Sales Expert to join their team in Sibiu.
Description
Managing and developing relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities and contributing to portfolio growth;
Acting as the main point of contact for customers on commercial and technical matters, ensuring effective communication throughout the customer relationship;
Understanding customer requirements, gathering and consolidating relevant information, and translating customer needs into clear actions for the relevant internal teams;
Preparing, coordinating, and following up on commercial quotations in close collaboration with Sales Support, Finance, Engineering, Production, and Management;
Identifying new customers, industries, and markets with growth potential and building and maintaining a strong opportunity pipeline;
Monitoring market and competitor developments and identifying new business opportunities and sales approaches;
Supporting commercial negotiations related to pricing and contractual terms;
Representing the company professionally in customer interactions and participating in customer meetings, trade fairs, and networking events;
Monitoring and reporting on customer activities, sales opportunities, and relevant market developments.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Key Account Management, or a similar commercial role within a B2B environment;
Technical background, supported by a technical degree or relevant technical education, combined with a strong commercial understanding;
Proven experience in managing customer relationships and developing business opportunities;
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally within sheet metal processing, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, component manufacturing, or a related field;
Strong ability to gather, analyze, and consolidate information from multiple sources, while collaborating effectively with technical and commercial teams;
Very good professional English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
