For our client, a leading Romanian manufacturer of thermal insulation metal panels for walls and roofs, we are looking for a Technical Director.
Description
Providing technical expertise and consultancy to clients, including consultants, architects and designers;
Presenting and promoting the company’s product portfolio to architecture firms and project stakeholders, and providing technical specifications and support during project planning;
Identifying and tracking new project opportunities in cooperation with architects, designers, construction companies, contractors and developers;
Delivering technical consultancy and assistance throughout project design, tendering and implementation stages;
Collaborating with architects and designers to ensure the inclusion of company products in project designs and technical specifications;
Organizing product presentations, technical workshops and on-site visits for key stakeholders;
Preparing technical documentation and other materials required for product specification and offering;
Determining project-specific technical requirements and characteristics;
Preparing and providing clients with technical project plans upon request;
Monitoring project progress and ensuring the provision of necessary technical support;
Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and customer needs to support the development of sales strategies;
Building and maintaining a relevant professional network, including influencers, architects, designers, contractors and developers;
Collaborating with other departments, including local sales representatives, to ensure accurate technical support and product specification;
Identifying projects at concept and permitting stages and initiating actions to include the company’s products in tender documentation and technical specifications;
Supporting dedicated technical presentations for architects, designers and consultants;
Following up on specified projects and converting them into commercial opportunities and orders;
Providing the necessary technical support to the sales team;
Contacting clients to provide relevant technical information and assistance.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience;
Technical degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, and having experience in the construction sector;
Good knowledge of AutoCAD or other software used in architecture and construction, as well as MS Office and other relevant tools;
Good command of English; knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage;
Holding a valid driving licence and being available for occasional travel within the assigned territory;
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and industry stakeholders;
Proactive, organized and customer-oriented, with the ability to identify and follow up on business opportunities;
Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
