For our client, one of the top bread makers in Romania sold on the Modern Trade market, part of a Greek group with 640 employees, we are searching for a Sales Manager, with the task of managing the Area Sales Managers and Key Accounts Managers to be as effective as possible, for crafting national sales plan in Romania.
Developing the business by approaching major clients and forming working relationships with the premier buyers in retail and distribution industry for sustainable long term cooperation;
Maintaining close, trusting relationships with those under his charge and facilitate open communication between branches and employees;
Identifying valuable emerging markets and different distribution channels in Romania;
Maximising company profit and achieving sales targets;
Forming sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative;
Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions;
Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace, both on a national scale and also for the individual regions under his charge;
Hiring, overseeing and managing the team of Area Sales Managers and Key Account Managers in Romania;
Acquiring the best talent for the company;
Performing a high degree of trend analysis, market monitoring, and result tracking.
2-3 years of experience in a similar management position;
Strong accountabilities in Strategic Sales, Account Management, and Sales Management;
Advanced skills in reporting and reporting tools (Excel and PowerPoint);
Committed to continuously educating himself by attending professional workshops, industry events, certification courses, and reviewing professional publications;
Well-developed people and interpersonal skills;
Strong business sense and ability to forecast major shifts in the marketplace;
Understands what drives demand in the market;
Ability in working with series of numbers and statistics, with strong math skills and well-developed business senses;
Good mentor and coach;
Able to effectively and proactively discipline employees when they fail in their duties;
Availability for extensive travelling.
