We are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive sales revenue while providing technical consultancy for a world-leading client specializing in engineered solutions for sustained power, heating, and cooling needs. This role combines strong commercial execution with technical expertise, supporting customers with tailored, high-value solutions across complex industrial environments.

Description


Spearheading business development initiatives (80% allocation) through strategic cold calling, market prospecting, and comprehensive technical discovery;
Executing extensive field operations (approx. 70% of the time) across a territory of over 10 counties to cultivate a sophisticated understanding of regional industrial ecosystems;
Synthesizing client requirements with technical feasibility by capturing field data and partnering with the internal project engineering team to design bespoke solutions;
Orchestrating the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from lead generation to the seamless integration of complex, multi-year rental configurations into client infrastructure;
Leveraging technical expertise in high-voltage power, large-scale HVAC, and industrial processes to engage effectively with site managers and lead engineers;
Facilitating 7 to 10 high-impact, face-to-face consultations weekly to ensure a high-velocity sales pipeline;
Navigating cross-functional internal departments to ensure that solution design, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance phases are executed with excellence;
Accelerating revenue growth through a multifaceted sales methodology that balances new business acquisition with strategic account expansion;
Consulting with existing clients to demonstrate the value of engineered solutions for critical power, heating, and cooling requirements;
Cultivating multi-level stakeholder alliances across diverse sales cycles, ranging from tactical short-term rentals to complex, long-term capital projects;
Surpassing established benchmarks for territory development and sales quotas through high adaptability and a versatile professional skill set;
Providing high-level reporting on territory performance and market trends while identifying emerging industry sectors for strategic penetration.

Requirements


Minimum 3 years of sales experience in high-voltage power, large-scale HVAC, or industrial solutions, including cold calling, territory management, and exposure to energy, rental, or heavy construction sectors (e.g., large generators, industrial chillers);
Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments, engaging procurement, site managers, and technical directors, while balancing strong commercial drive with solid technical understanding and adapting quickly across diverse industrial settings;
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Power) or similar, with an entrepreneurial, business-owner mindset, strong financial acumen, and the ability to clearly articulate ROI and business value;
Fluent in English, with a strong network in the local market (Arad, Timișoara, Oradea, Cluj, and surrounding areas).
