For our client we are recruiting a Resource & Logistics Coordinator in Germany, covering Grafenwöhr, Hohenfels, and Ansbach Training Areas.
Description
Coordinating workforce planning and personnel scheduling to ensure continuous 24/7 operational coverage across multiple sites;
Managing shift patterns, rotations, and relief coverage for operational support services, including food service, custodial, transportation, equipment and fuel distribution;
Overseeing vehicle fleet operations, including buses, cargo trucks, and forklifts;
Coordinating preventive maintenance activities to maintain high equipment availability;
Ensuring timely replacement of vehicles and positioning of backup equipment;
Managing government-owned property, including inventory control, reconciliation, and reporting;
Coordinating subcontractor activities and aligning schedules with operational requirements;
Supporting workforce stability and retention initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or a related field;
Minimum 5 years of experience in resource planning and logistics coordination;
At least 3 years of experience in workforce scheduling for 24/7 operations;
Experience in vehicle fleet management and equipment inventory control;
Previous exposure to government property accountability processes;
Experience working in Defence, military, or government contracting environments;
Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and multiple stakeholders;
Proficiency in scheduling and resource management systems;
Professional logistics or supply chain certifications (e.g. CILT, APICS) are an advantage;
Valid driver’s licence;
Fluent English is mandatory; German language skills are an advantage
