For our client - a leading international engineering, consulting, and project management group with a strong international presence, delivering innovative solutions in transportation, railways, roads, urban development, energy, water, and sustainable infrastructure projects - we are recruiting a Railway Design Coordinator, from Bucharest or nearby.
Description
Managing the Railway Design team and/or bids, ensuring the necessary resources and activities to deliver projects on time and to client satisfaction;
Maintaining relationships and regular contact with Clients, Partners, and Subcontractors, and attending technical meetings with them;
Managing project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, monitoring, and regular review, as well as planning project workloads, invoices, and payments under the guidance of the Department Manager;
Setting objectives for the Railway Design Team and overseeing the design process;
Defining tasks and deadlines;
Actively participating in the development of design phases;
Providing technical support to the Project Manager;
Attending technical meetings with partners and/or beneficiaries;
Evaluating the Railway Design Team's workload and resource requirements;
Promoting an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication;
Monitoring team performance;
Identifying training needs and providing coaching and development support;
Maintaining strong awareness of current issues and market trends, particularly those with a direct impact on projects.
Requirements
Construction Engineering Degree- Faculty of Railway, Road and Bridge Engineering;
At least 5 years of proven experience on a similar position, in an international company in the field of railway design;
Minimum 2 years of team management experience;
Upper/ advanced level of English;
Strong computer skills (proficiency in recognised design software and Microsoft applications).
