For our client, a multinational company, in automotive industry, we are looking for a Financial Controller, in Arad.
Description
Overseeing and monitoring operating expenses and capital investments within the assigned scope of responsibility;
Facilitating the initiation of investment proposals, ensuring compliance with the approved financial plan;
Coordinating the capitalization process by transferring Construction in Progress to the Fixed Assets Register;
Taking ownership of cost control procedures across multiple cost centers, reviewing financial performance to detect variances against budgets or forecasts, and preparing corresponding analyses and reports;
Partnering with the Plant Controller to prepare and refine the annual budgeting process;
Conducting forecasting and financial projection activities;
Contributing to month-end closing tasks, including maintaining and executing allocation and distribution cycles in SAP;
Producing monthly financial reports for the designated business area;
Carrying out ad-hoc financial analyses and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions;
Working cross-functionally with various departments and providing support for special initiatives and projects.
Requirements
Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment;
Fluent English communication skills and knowledge of MS Office and SAP (Financial Module);
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline;
Strong team player with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
