We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving our client company's strategic decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data across various departments, including Operations, Sales, Accounting, Marketing, and HR, with the ultimate goal of optimizing financial efficiency and ensuring business sustainability within the transportation and logistics sector.
Description
Preparing and delivering accurate, insightful financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) that clearly reflect company performance;
Conducting in-depth analysis across transportation modes (air, sea, rail, road) to identify key drivers, cost structures, and revenue opportunities;
Monitoring financial flows, detecting trends early, and proposing data-backed corrective measures;
Interpreting complex financial indicators and translating them into actionable recommendations to optimize costs and support decision-making;
Contributing to financial forecasting and annual budget planning with data-driven accuracy;
Evaluating operational expenses and recommending improvements to drive efficiency and reduce waste;
Analyzing margin performance and collaborating cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities;
Working closely with operations teams to implement practical, impactful cost-reduction strategies;
Tracking budget performance, reporting on deviations, and supporting proactive budget management;
Building and overseeing bonus schemes for Sales and Operations, ensuring alignment with performance goals;
Assessing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, evaluating ROI, and guiding budget allocation based on results;
Tracking marketing-related expenses and providing recommendations to maximize impact;
Collaborating with Accounting to ensure accurate financial data, with Sales to strengthen commercial strategies, and with HR to plan salary and benefits budgets;
Upholding all financial and fiscal regulations across your analyses and reports.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a transportation or logistics company;
University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting;
Advanced level of English proficiency (written and spoken);
Solid knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting;
Advanced skills in using MS Excel and ERP systems;
Ability to analyze and synthesize financial data;
Attention to detail and results-oriented;
Excellent communication and interdepartmental collaboration skills.
