On behalf of our client, a well-established and rapidly growing organization operating in the fields of building materials, interior solutions, and technical B2B distribution, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Country Manager to lead the Romanian business and drive its next phase of growth.
Description
Directing all business operations, commercial activities, and the full country P&L across Romania, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost optimization;
Analyzing industry trends to identify new market opportunities, while designing localized strategies, cultivating high-level B2B partnerships, and implementing robust client retention programs;
Leading and empowering cross-functional teams, while driving the sales department to increase market share, achieve revenue targets, and maximize profit margins;
Optimizing workflows to ensure optimal stock levels and seamless material distribution;
Collaborating with HR to attract, develop, and retain top talent, while overseeing regular performance review systems to foster an inclusive, high-performing workforce;
Reporting regional performance, financial metrics, and strategic milestones directly to corporate headquarters, while ensuring alignment of all local business processes with regional regulations, corporate governance standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Extensive experience in senior sales and management roles, with deep expertise in building materials, interior solutions, and technical B2B distribution sector;
Proven track record of driving B2B sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing market share;
Strong commercial acumen, including full P&L responsibility, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning;
Effective leader of cross-functional teams, with the ability to build strong relationships with executives and key B2B clients;
Fluent in English, enabling effective international communication, reporting, and cross-border collaboration.
