For our client we are looking for a Contract, Procurement & Financial Administrator in Germany.
Description
Reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager and serving as the financial backbone of contract operations across the three Bavarian training areas;
Holding responsibility for full financial stewardship of the company’s contract value, ensuring fiscal accountability, regulatory compliance, and transparent reporting;
Managing all daily reporting obligations including Contract Daily Reports and Personnel Status Reports (PERSTAT), and coordinating weekly and monthly reporting deliverables to meet client-required timelines;
Processing invoices, monitoring budget variances within the ±3% target threshold, compiling cost reports, and preparing forecast-to-complete analyses to support gross margin objectives;
Ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements and procurement regulations;
Overseeing procurement planning, purchase order management, subcontract administration, vendor performance monitoring, and competitive bidding processes;
Administering personnel data including headcount tracking, overtime monitoring, leave coordination, and attendance control for 24/7 operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration, procurement, or financial management;
Experience with subcontract administration and vendor management;
Experience managing competitive bidding processes, source selection, and contract negotiations;
Experience with cost reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis;
Proficiency using financial management systems (D365 F&O preferred);
Fluent English.
Prior experience working with FAR/DFAR frameworks in government or defense-related contract environments is a plus;
Experience in coordinating reporting cycles in multi-site operational environments and in interacting with auditors or participating in internal/external audit processes is a plus;
It is preferred to have experience managing procurement workflows within high-volume or fast-paced operational settings.
