Business Developer for Biologicals & SAT
Company description
For our client, a major global agricultural company devoted to products for seeds and crop protection, we are searching for a Category Marketing Manager
Description
Develop and execute category strategies for the Biologicals and SAT portfolios across Romania and assigned markets;
Lead portfolio lifecycle management, including launch planning, positioning, pricing, forecasting and demand planning;
Translate customer, distributor and farmer insights into actionable marketing strategies;
Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics and emerging opportunities to identify future growth drivers;
Build compelling value propositions and commercialization plans for new and existing products;
Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Experts, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure business success;
Drive demand generation activities, campaigns, demonstrations and customer engagement programs;
Support key account development and participate in strategic discussions with distributors and seed industry partners;
Track business performance, market share and profitability, recommending corrective actions when needed.
Requirements
University degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plant Protection or related field;
Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural marketing, product management, category management or commercial roles;
Strong knowledge of crop protection, plant nutrition, biologicals or seed treatment technologies;
Experience working with seed companies and seed treatment solutions is considered an advantage;
Understanding of the Romanian & Moldova agricultural market and distribution landscape;
Strategic thinking and business acumen;
Strong analytical and financial understanding;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Very good level of English.
