Company description
For our client a multinational technology company, we are looking for an Accountant in Bucharest or Ploiesti.
Description
Managing accounting for invoices issued to both internal and external customers, as well as service suppliers;
Recording and processing receipts and payments based on bank statements, expense reports, and cash register transactions;
Compiling and delivering financial reports in accordance with the requirements of the parent company;
Supporting the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and assisting external auditors;
Generating client invoices in alignment with ongoing project activities and contractual terms;
Executing monthly financial reconciliations, period-end closings, and inventory control procedures in compliance with internal standards;
Developing and organizing the required documentation to support the annual inventory procedures in accordance with internal policies;
Monitoring project status and progress on an hourly basis;
Maintaining constant communication with the external financial consultant;
Acting as the main point of contact for project managers and clients;
Handling project invoicing and managing project data within the ERP system (Microsoft D365);
Reviewing employees’ time tracking and allocating billable hours accordingly;
Overseeing travel expense accounting and ensuring accuracy;
Preparing timesheets for final approval by the project manager;
Creating and validating invoices as a core part of the daily role.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
University degree or a mandatory educational background in a related field;
English knowledge (German is considered a significant advantage);
Proficient use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Prior knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a strong advantage;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within complex software environments.
