For our client, one of the most important producer of home appliances in the world, that starts a Green Field in Aricestii Rahtivani near Ploiesti, we are looking for a Process Engineer.
Planning and designing new assembly lines, improving manufacturing methods, initiating design changes to maximize manufacturing capabilities;
Being responsible with developing and delivering mass-production manufacturing process, tooling and equipment for the plant;
Being responsible with the process development of new or existing programs, including primary, assembly and sub-assembly equipment;
Assessing manufacturing feasibility during new business acquisition and throughout program development;
Establishing all in-house manufacturing related assumptions during new business acquisition stage, including assessing any new capital requirement, in collaboration with the Production Engineers;
Developing in-house manufacturing sub-assembly and assembly processes, in line with global best practices, using P-FMEA, MOST analysis, error-proofing considering individual project targets;
Establishing equipment specification for any new or modified equipment;
Working with suppliers towards final solution and equipment manufacture;
Managing equipment suppliers from quotation to final equipment acceptance, including equipment pre-acceptance;
Supporting equipment installation, debugging, process parameter development, as well as production trial runs;
Establishing and implementing (during trial runs) standard documentation (e.g. Setup Instructions, Job Instructions, Safety Standards, etc.), in collaboration with plant Production Engineer;
Supporting plant and project teams for problem solving, investigations, continuous improvements, VA/VE, etc.
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering;
Advanced English level;
At least 5 years of experience in consumer goods/ automotive sector;
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
