We are looking for an Operations Director for our client, a company from the automotive area, with branches worldwide, who designs, develops and produces innovative products for the OEM and ODM customers worldwide. This position will provide you the opportunity to join a great team and bring your active contribution to the company.
Directs and coordinates the daily activities of the two production facilities and the logistic department;
Supports and promotes the companies Guiding Principals and the Quality Policy, working along with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
Manages and improves the operational systems, processes, and policies and drives initiatives that and contribute to long-term operational excellence;
Analyzes the production schedules and estimates labor requirements for completion of job assignments, making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
Develops and manages the annual budget, oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of the organization’s financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals;
Manages, motivates and leads the team, reviews the workers' performance and proposes the needed training;
Recommends specific measures to improve the production methods, the working conditions, and the quality of the products;
Maintains and monitors IATF 16949/ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for the assigned shifts;
Collaborates with the other departments to reach the companies objectives.
At least 4 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role – preferably in automotive;
Strong and effective communicator at multi-levels of organization;
Excellent planning, organizing and executing skills;
Excellent leadership skills;
Results driven – focus on the goal and able to to deliver what is needed on time;
Excellent ability to problem solve at multi levels and to be able to provide solutions through the team or at an individual level;
ISO / TS / VDA Orientation Awareness training;
Proficiency in English.
