Head of L&D Services
For one of our clients, a leading manufacturer of both planes and trains, we are currently looking for a Head of L&D Services. The portofolio of our client includes a full range of passenger rail vehicles and we manufacture locomotives, bogies, propulsion and rail control solutions, setting new standards in sustainable mobility.
Monitoring training/learning costs and taking action to achieve targets;
Supporting Training Needs Analysis for each country supported;
Coordinating local negotiations with employee representatives;
Ensuring support to managers and employees to make effective decisions regarding training/learning;
Hiring, developing and retaining the best talent in the local market;
Developing and deploying on the job learning frameworks and e-learning to meet business demands;
Managing the purchasing, approvals, payment and recharging process for training/ learning services delivered;
Proposing audit methodology improvements based on International Best Practices;
Preparing specific work programs and developing a knowledge base for the audit function;
Making recommendations for optimizing management procedures and systems;
Participating in the development of Cluj operations and talent to meet EMEA business HR needs.
Degree level qualifications, masters preferred;
English at a proficient level, any other European language will represent a great asset;
4-6 years L&D experience in a complex international environment;
HR and/or L&D qualifications an advantage;
Project Management experience;
Experience of operational improvemet;
Good understanding of LMS and Learning technologies, good general IT skills and MS Office.
