Job Description:

Representing the Commissioning function at project meetings and design review meetings;
Contributing to the creation of the project commissioning philosophy and implementation;
Implementing the commissioning design changes and the production of as-built project documentation;
Giving support for the continuous improvement of project process and product, and system design via the provision of lessons learned feedback;
Assisting in creating proposals for engineering projects or programs through the provision of bills of materials and estimated engineering hours for own discipline;
Giving support to the Contract Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.);
Creating work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and proactively managing this work to deliver the agreed program on time, on quality and at targeted cost;
Representing the Commissioning function at risk review meetings throughout the project lifecycle e.g. hazard and operability study and hazard identification study reviews in the design phase and the Commissioning panel during the commissioning phase;
Conducting risk and opportunity assessments in real time during the commissioning phase to ensure safe implementation of the commissioning philosophy and identification of potential variation requests to support contract claims;
Early reporting any contract/quality/program/cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution;
Coordinating site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification;
Acting as a leader on behalf of the company for commissioning activities on a project;
Managing external organizations providing commissioning with equipment, systems or services (e.g. issuing permits to work, providing guidance on health and safety requirements and work practices, accepting as complete work done);
Coaching Associate Commissioning Engineers;
Being responsible to occasionally deliver technical presentations, seminars, training;
Using agreed processes and procedures to ensure that all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements;
Implementing the company’s decisions, strategies, and methods;
Complying with the rules of the Code of Conduct;
Providing accurate and on-time reports to top management; 
Making follow-ups and observe the company’s rules and regulations; 
Avoiding disclosure of confidential data;
Continuously improving own performance and developing potential by training and assessment, as agreed with direct manager.
Requirements:

University degree in Electrical Engineering and working experience of 1-3 years;
Native Romanian language speaker with good level of English;
Clean driving license;
Availability to travel at national level about 70 - 80% of the time;
Commissioning and service work experience for HV/MV primary equipment is a plus;
Experience in creating and carrying out test procedures;
Proven experience in investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults;
History in troubleshooting;
Capacity to write reports and documentation;
Capacity to provid technical support;
Experience in ensuring safe working conditions.
