1. How long have you been with Lugera – The People Republic?
I’ve been working at Lugera for almost two and a half years, but the time here passed so fast. My life as a recruiter is so dynamic and every single day brings new challenges, so that in a short period of time I had the opportunity to develop some of my skills and competencies I wouldn’t even have thought of before. What I enjoy most is that I’m constantly learning new things – as we like to say, but this is a saying that suits me very well – such as: strategies, business, client management, candidate experience and people management.
2. What’s the most WOW thing that we don’t know about you?
It’s hard for me to think about the most interesting thing…it depends on the perspective. What should be mentioned and what amuses me the most is that I have a degree of public procurement expert and copywriter, but I haven’t worked not a single hour in these areas. I have different interests and every time I have the chance to learn something, I don’t miss any opportunity. You can also see from my professional experience that before HR I worked in different positions and each one of them helped me develop skills that have proved useful for my job at Lugera.
3. What’s your way to relax at the end of the day?
I’m always trying to enjoy my free time and to use it for activities for personal development, different sports, hanging out with my friends or some quality time spent in nature. What I’m looking for when relaxing after a long day are experiences and it would be great if the time would stop for a while…because sometimes I feel the time is not enough for all of my plans.
4. What’s the funniest thing that happened to you lately?
Something funny…ok, let’s say the reason why I was chosen to take this interview: my colleagues wanted to know more about the music I’m listening to…and, still, there is only one question about it. So, I guess they will still wonder.
5. What’s your latest post on Facebook?
My posts on Facebook are mostly about the places I visit and about different activities with my friends or my team.
6. What do you like most about your job?
What I like most about my job is that every day I discover myself and more and more about HR, even though there are lots of difficulties along the way…all of these help me get better. There’s not even one day that looks like the other and this makes me wonder what will today bring?
7. Who and what inspires you?
I seek inspiration in people around me who through their determination, work and perseverance have become an example for all of us. One of them is Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, who wrote the book Lean in and inspired women around the world and raised awareness about women’s issues in business and the importance of gender balance. I was also impressed by her inner strength to accept her husband’s lost, her attitude emphasizing the importance of not giving up no matter life’s adventures.
8. How lucky are you and why?
I will always say that I’m lucky because I’m surrounded by my loved ones, I have friends I can rely on, I’m working at my dream and I have lots of reasons to smile every day. But I never won a prize and there were times when I had bad luck in every sense of the word :).
