You are invited to meet our colleagues from Lugera – The People Republic, to discover their stories and to learn from their experiences. Any questions or curiosities? Leave us a comment below and we will gladly answer it!
1/ How long have you been with Lugera – The People Republic?

I’m a newbie in the republic… 3 months ago I moved my residence to the Social Media & Marketing district at Lugera, after a 7 years experience in PR and communication on different projects: from those developed by NGOs (on social responsibility, career counselling, social economy) to start-ups. Although the non-governmental domain remains one of my dearest areas that gave me the opportunity to understand better that beyond any strategy people are the most important, I was looking for a challenge, a change that would still fit what I liked most (PR, marketing, Social Media, internal communication)… and HR came as a bonus which made accept the offer instantly. Why? Because it’s not an unknown subject for me… I studied human resources management for 3 years.

2/ What’s the most WOW thing that we don’t know about you?

I think not even my colleagues from Social Media know about one of my personal projects that I have been working at for a few months with a bunch of friends. It’s about Poarta4Design (the name is inspired by the neighbourhood where we met and where we grew up), a drop of Romanian beauty put on t-shirts. We were inspired by the old Romanian movies, by the Romanian famous building and by the desire to bring them back in a modern interpretation. Starting next year, we won’t miss any festival….so eyes on us. 😊

Here you go, one of my favourite t-shirt…so far…

3/ What’s your way to relax at the end of the day?

Most of my days end in the same manner… meeting with friends or watching TV series… and yes, I am one of the few people in Lugera who hasn’t seen yet Game of Thrones. 😊Recently, I’ve started watching Orange is the new black and it will take up all my spare time for a while. There are some days when my mood is changing and with a camera in my hands I’m looking for inspiring moments and shots in Bucharest. There are also other days when I just want to relax and detach myself through a few minutes of yoga at home.

4/ What’s the funniest thing that happened to you lately?

There is not a single day when something funny doesn’t happen at Social Media & Marketing department….from small pranks to games we play during our break to get out of our rhythm. Working on the creative side, there are some situations when we go a little further… with our imagination. Unfortunately, I can’t share more with you because of the oath I took. 😊

5/ What’s your latest post on Facebook?

If you look on my Facebook profile, you can immediately figure out some of my personality … and not from what is written there, but from that I’m sharing through the pictures I take. Being passionate about photography, Facebook is more of a photobook where I like to keep my memories and experiences. The last pictures I posted is from Navodari beach from my first and my last weekend to seaside in this season.

Scroll down the profile … can you guess which flowers I like most? 😊

6/ What do you like most about your job?

People. I get all my inspiration from people and also for them I’m thinking campaigns and projects. And they are the ones who motivate me and trust me with what I do. Along with people, you celebrate your success, enjoy your happy life experiences and they are by your side whenever you need.

Diversity. Whether I work on Facebook campaign, develop a concept for an engagement event or write content on the blog, it is very important to really understand the work of each of my colleagues, regardless the department we are talking about.

7/ Who and what inspires you?

Absolutely every person I have met so far and with whom I have been interacting at a more advanced level (professionally or personally) brought with them life stories that inspired me and contributed to a certain extent to the person I am today. Some of them have inspired me to go forward when I’m about to quit, to dare to want more, to dream and to fight for it, to take care of those around me, to respect and enjoy my spare time.

8/ How lucky are you and why?

I never won the lottery, but I won in life… family, friends and experiences. 😊Pretty lucky, I guess

9/ Tell us about your day using a movie title.

La vita è bella. 😊

10/ If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into your office, what would it be?
