For our customer - a global company specialized in manufacturing and supplying bearings, seals, lubrication systems, and services for rotating equipment, we are looking for a Mechanical Application Engineer, from Bucharest or nearby.
Descriere
Identifying customer technical issues and analyzing technical details of customer's requirements and communicating these clearly and accurately to both the customer and the internal organization;
Performing application reviews on machines and equipment;
Creating and presenting application engineering proposals and customized solutions according to customer requirements;
Working closely with the sales teams, contributing to opportunity generation, and supporting the development of customer value proposals according to the company's Sales Excellence approach;
Being responsible for customer relationship management at the engineering level;
Contributing to internal and external training, developing training materials, and acting as a trainer for bearing application topics;
Using effectively, interpreting and verifying results from (application) engineering software to create value for customers;
Participating in the execution of Root Cause Failure Analysis of the customers' application and contributing to the identification of customer value from the proposed company issue resolution, as an input for the sales offer;
Representing the company and its products and services at customers and institutions through visits, presentations, seminars and fairs;
Acting proactively in the account/sales team on development of complex business opportunities including new business models beyond transactional products business; transfer of knowledge, chair technical meetings, participate in projects etc.;
Representing the company and its products, calculation software and services at customers and institutions through visits, presentations, seminars and fairs.
Being involved in development projects and coordinating design, testing and sample shop activities, if applicable.
Cerințe
Technical university education, preferably Mechanical engineering or related field (mechatronics/automation/industrial engineering);
3-5 years of previous experience with rotating equipment/machines (Mechanical Design; Technical support Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Field/Service Engineer activity);
Preferable previous international corporate experience;
Knowledge of Auto Cad, Solid Works (able to read and modify some drawings);
Fluent in English language;
Good communication skills;
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and learn quickly;
Result-oriented mind, enjoying working in networks both internationally and cross-functionally;
Availability to travel (local and international).
