For our client, a leading energy company and one of the largest producers of electricity from renewable energies in Europe, we are looking for an Accountant.
Descriere
Processing accounting documents and issuing customer invoices in SAP, ensuring accurate booking, coding, and compliant archiving;
Performing monthly and annual closings according to group and statutory requirements;
Maintaining accurate records of fixed assets, suppliers, customers, and stocks, and supporting the annual inventory process;
Preparing and submitting statutory financial statements and supporting IFRS reporting, variance analysis, and financial planning;
Supporting the preparation of tax declarations (VAT, corporate, local taxes) and ensuring compliance with legal deadlines;
Processing payments and bank reconciliations, ensuring treasury operations follow internal procedures;
Assisting with audits and tax inspections by preparing documentation and providing required information;
Collaborating with management and other departments on reporting, controls, and additional accounting tasks.
Cerințe
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience;
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Strong knowledge of Romanian GAAP, fiscal legislation, and statutory reporting;
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and English (written and spoken);
Nice to have: Experience in IFRS, tax, consolidation, or the energy sector, experience in multinational environments and group reporting, CECCAR certification.
