Transport Design Manager - Infrastructure Roads and Railways

For our client we are looking for an experienced Transportation Design Manager to lead and develop its transportation design business for road and railways in Romania.
Descriere
Leading the Transportation Design department and managing its overall business and operational performance;
Taking responsibility for P&L, revenue, margins, EBIT/EBITDA, cash flow and invoicing;
Managing the project portfolio, ensuring timely and profitable delivery while monitoring risks, EAC/ETC, claims and variation orders;
Leading strategic and high-risk projects and supporting recovery plans where required;
Developing the business, managing the project pipeline and supporting strategic bids and order intake;
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners and contracting authorities;
Managing Project Managers, Team/Discipline Leaders, Contract Managers and other key team members;
Planning resources, identifying recruitment and competency needs and supporting team development;
Ensuring effective collaboration across multidisciplinary projects and with regional/international teams;
Working closely with Finance, Legal, Tender, HR and CEE technical teams to achieve business objectives.
Cerințe
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Railway Engineering or a related field;
Experience in transportation infrastructure, engineering, design, consulting or construction;
Experience in managing a business unit, project portfolio or large technical team;
Strong understanding of project controls, EAC/ETC, margins, cash flow and P&L;
Experience with contracts, claims, variation orders and risk management;
Experience in bidding, pipeline management and client relationships;
Demonstrating strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills;
Being comfortable working in a complex, international and matrix organisation;
Strong English language skills.
