For our client - fintech company - we are looking for Senior Area Sales Managers with B2B Fintech Solutions background in Bucharest, Cluj and Timisoara
Descriere
Identifying, negotiating, and closing high-value deals with large-scale merchant partners (5+ M annual B2C revenue), focusing on high-impact retail chains and e-commerce leaders;
Coordinating the end-to-end sales process for the company’s key strategic B2B partners;
Maintaining senior oversight and full ownership of the regional pipeline to ensure consistent growth and portfolio health;
Driving long-term growth by negotiating service expansions and ensuring immediate partner adoption, with a focus on rapidly reaching a "go-live" transaction threshold after closing a deal;
Analyzing regional POS lending data to identify systemic trends and proposing and implementing structural improvements to the merchant journey and company’s visibility;
Leading the implementation of Leanpay’s most complex marketing and communication strategies at the POS level, ensuring strong brand presence in the region;
Collecting feedback on competitor movements and market gaps as a senior ambassador and driving the implementation of company product improvements in the market;
Supporting the Head of Sales by providing mentorship, guidance, best practices, and shadowing opportunities to enhance overall team performance;
Preparing advanced quarterly and annual forecasts and delivering in-depth analysis on ROI for regional promotions and partner performance;
Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Risk, and Tech teams to ensure seamless onboarding for complex merchant integrations;
Cerințe
6+ years of proven success in B2B sales, with at least 3 years specifically in Fintech, Retail Financial Services, or E-commerce payments;
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or specialized sales certifications preferred);
Demonstrated track record of closing high-contract-value deals and managing C-level relationships within the retail sector;
Proficiency in CRM data analysis and the ability to translate "raw numbers" into actionable regional sales strategies;
An existing, high-level B2B network of retail prospects and decision-makers in the Romanian market;
Valid Driver’s License (B) and a willingness to travel extensively to maintain high-touch relationships with key partners.
