We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Production Manager on behalf of our client, a well known company within the packaging manufacturing industry. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee entire day-to-day manufacturing operations, spearhead plant optimization, and directly manage an operational team.
Descriere
Managing and developing the production team, overseeing recruitment, performance evaluation, and technical skill transfer;
Coordinating the end-to-end production process, from raw materials receipt to final delivery;
Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S tools to eliminate waste and optimize industrial flows;
Budgeting and executing annual operational plans, department budgets, and technical investment or plant modernization projects;
Ensuring strict compliance with cost, quality, productivity, and safety standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001);
Planning and scheduling production runs to maximize machinery utilization, minimize downtime, and guarantee on-time delivery;
Monitoring and optimizing specific raw material consumption rates and plant-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
Collaborating closely with internal support departments to maintain seamless communication and cross-functional operational efficiency;
Representing the company professionally in relationships with local authorities, certification bodies, and key external stakeholders.
Cerințe
Extensive background in a similar role within the packaging manufacturing sector;
Proven track record managing automated production facilities and overseeing complex production planning;
Degree in Engineering (an MBA is a strong plus);
Exceptional verbal and written English skills.
