Operations Team Supervisor – Logistics & Customs

For our customer, a solutions provider to the emerging cross border e-commerce platforms industry, we are looking for an Operational Team Supervisor with experince in Logistics and Customs.
Descriere
Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of a team of administrative assistants (customs and accounting support);
Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all administrative and operational processes;
Overseeing workflows between departments such as logistics, customs, and finance, ensuring smooth collaboration;
Performing quality checks and final validation of documents prepared by the team;
Coordinating the preparation of documentation for audits, VAT reviews, and customs controls;
Participating in the onboarding and training of new team members;
Managing proper archiving and ensuring full traceability of documents (physical and digital);
Preparing and delivering regular reports to international stakeholders;
Acting as the main point of contact for communication with headquarters and ensuring alignment across teams;
Ensuring clear, proactive, and efficient communication to prevent delays or operational issues;
Taking ownership of local problem-solving and escalating topics when necessary;
Supporting process improvements and contributing to the setup of a new operational team and structure.
Cerințe
2–3 years of experience in logistics, international trade, or similar operational environments;
Exposure to customs and/or accounting processes representing a strong advantage;
Demonstrating previous experience in a coordinating, supervisory, or team lead role;
Demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
Being comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and setup/scale-up environment;
Excellent written and spoken English skills (mandatory);
Chinese language skills representing an advantage;
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word);
Comfortable using ERP systems and digital tools for operational and reporting activities.
