Logistic and Administrative Officer
For our client, an important logistic specialist for sugar and agricultural products, we are looking for a Logistic and Administrative Officer.
Keeping track of the transport orders on the international routes;
Communicating with the customers for the possible deviations from the agreed delivery dates and obtaining the acceptance and confirmation for rescheduling the deliveries for another date;
Obtaining the scheduling for the unloading time slots at the logistics platforms and the customers' warehouses;
Communicating with the commercial representative any quantitative and qualitative differences found by the customers when unloading at the destination;
Redirecting to another destination or to the external warehouse each transport that has been refused for reception;
Obtaining and archiving the documents related to each transport;
Entering the transport orders in ERP (SAP);
Taking the necessary steps for customs formalities in case of imports and port operations;
Carrying out administrative activities related to the proper office functioning.
Minimum 1 year experience in the field (Logistics - transportation);
Knowledge in the economic field;
Bachelor’s degree – advantage;
Mandatory knowledge of English (speaking, writing, reading);
Knowledge of German – optional;
PC operating skills: ERP (SAP), Microsoft Office, internet and e-mail applications;
Very good written and spoken communication skills.
