For our client, an automotive electrical equipment supplier and partner to automakers worldwide, we are searching for a Finance Manager, in Cluj - Napoca.
Assuring timely and accurate month and year-end closings with respect to statutory and the Group’s deadlines;
Ensuring that accounting and reporting is prepared in accordance with applicable legislation whilst also ensuring management reporting meets internal company procedures and policies;
Looking for opportunities to enhance and improve existing work methodologies;
Continuously improving the financial procedures and processes that relate to controlling, accounting, tax reporting;
Leading management reporting and financial planning cycles in the company, in line with the Group guidelines and standards;
Leading the analyses of monthly/quarterly/yearly numbers and present findings to the local leadership team and Group management;
Managing an end to end audit process of current financial systems looking to continuously improve the processes while acting as the first point of contact for external and internal auditors;
Safeguard compliance with financial, tax and legal obligations, such as VAT declarations, Corporate Income Taxes, Transfer Pricing submission, Intrastat declarations, Annual Accounts, Yearly count etc.;
Managing human resources within the department and developing talents through adequate objective/goal setting and OJT/Off-JT training to improve talent capability;
Assuring the local credit and collection process;
Having local ownership over cost pricing and commercial pricing methodologies;
Preparing short and long-term cash planning;
Performing investment analysis and providing recommendations upon new investments;
Representing the company in its relation with third parties such as banks, auditors, tax authorities, insurance companies etc;
Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field;
More than 5 years of experience in Finance management role;
Fluent level of English both in written and verbal;
Proficiency in MS Office applications/ERP - JD Edwards- is an advantage;
Mature leadership skills;
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal;
Result oriented / fact and figures led;
Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills.
