Civil Engineer - Solar Projects

For our client, a leading company that provides EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions for large-scale PV power plants, we are looking for a Civil Engineer for solar (PV) power station projects who is passionate about building the green energy infrastructure of tomorrow.
Descriere
Conduct site assessments to evaluate terrain, soil, and environmental conditions for PV construction;
Develop and review civil engineering designs for PV projects, including site grading, drainage systems, access roads, and foundation designs for solar panel arrays;
Ensure civil designs comply with structural standards, local codes, and environmental regulations;
Supervise and manage all civil construction activities on-site, including excavation, foundation work, concrete pouring, road construction, and other infrastructure development;
Assist with the preparation of technical documents and ensure all civil works comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety codes;
Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and contractors to coordinate civil construction activities with the overall project timeline;
Oversee quality assurance processes for civil engineering works, ensuring construction meets design specifications and company standards;
Monitor project costs related to civil works, optimizing for efficiency while maintaining highquality standards;
Enforce and adhere to safety protocols during the execution of civil construction work to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site.
Cerințe
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure projects;
Strong understanding of site grading, foundations, and structural analysis;
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software;
Knowledge of construction materials and soil mechanics;
Familiarity with local building codes, environmental regulations, and permitting processes;
A Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required;
Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and stormwater management;
Experience with environmental impact assessments related to large-scale construction projects;
Fluent in Romanian and English (spoken and written);
Strong organizational and project management skills.
