Area Sales Manager – Dealer Network

For our client, a key player in the transport industry, with a strong international presence as both a manufacturer and a commercial provider we are looking for proactive and results-driven Area Sales Manager to coordinate and develop a dealer network within a defined region. The role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring profitability, and strengthening the overall business ecosystem across vehicles, services, and financial solutions.
Descriere
Managing and developing the dealer network within the assigned region;
Driving sales performance for new and used vehicles, as well as associated services;
Monitoring and improving dealer KPIs, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational targets;
Supporting dealers in achieving sales targets, product mix, and service penetration;
Analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and contributing to business growth strategies;
Overseeing stock levels (new and used vehicles) and managing buy-back portfolio performance;
Strengthening dealer capabilities by coaching and developing sales competencies;
Promoting the full value chain, including maintenance contracts, connected services, and financial solutions;
Ensuring effective communication between sales, after-sales, finance, and support functions;
Monitoring customer satisfaction indicators (CSI/NPS) and driving improvement actions;
Supporting implementation of sales and service processes and ensuring compliance with operational standards;
Using CRM tools to tracking performance, managing pipelines, and reporting results;
Contributing to business planning, P&L consolidation, and market strategy execution;
Identifying operational gaps and implementing corrective and preventive actions together with stakeholders.
Cerințe
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field;
2–5+ years of experience in sales, ideally within automotive, commercial vehicles, or related industries;
Experience working with dealer networks or indirect sales channels;
Strong understanding of sales processes, after-sales, and service-related business models;
Solid analytical and financial understanding (KPIs, margins, profitability);
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills;
Ability to working independently and driving results without close supervision;
Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools (Excel, BI tools, etc.);
Good command of English (Italian is a plus);
Driving license category B (C is a plus).
