For our client, an important player in the FMCG market, in their Bucharest office, we are looking for an Accountant.
Descriere
Recording accounting transactions in compliance with Romanian legislation and internal procedures;
Preparing and submitting statutory declarations and monthly financial reports (VAT, corporate tax, etc.);
Managing daily operations related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets;
Following/monitoring the payment to suppliers;
Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring accurate and complete journal entries;
Preparing internal and external audit documentation and assisting auditors during reviews;
Monitoring inventory accounting, including raw materials, production flows, and finished goods;
Ensuring proper documentation and archiving of all financial and accounting records;
Collaborating with plant teams and central finance to ensure alignment between operations and accounting;
Improving internal accounting workflows and contributing to the implementation of internal controls;
Assisting in budgeting processes and performing variance analysis related to plant activities.
Cerințe
Economic studies (minimum bachelor's degree);
Solid knowledge of accounting and taxation;
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage;
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word);
Attention to detail and good organizational skills;
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
