For our client, whose mission is to implement Romania's largest circular economy project, we are looking for senior level Legal Advisor.
Descriere
Acting as trusted business partner/advisor;
Providing timely, accurate and constructive legal advice;
Supporting on different legal issues, but not limited to environmental law, safety, employment, data protection, commercial, civil, administrative and companies law;
Leading in legal delivery of major projects, transactions, ensuring that applicable regulations and policies are adhered to, while anticipating potential legal issues;
Revising the company contracts and agreements in order to protect company interests;
Supporting business plans, in compliance with applicable law;
Representing the company’s interest in litigation, if the case may be;
Assisting in/for general meetings of shareholders, shareholder registers, share certificates, board meetings, articles of association, as well as with by-laws and filings with relevant governmental agencies and authorities;
Providing assistance to the company's HR Management to ensure that employment contracts, collective agreements, dismissal and discipline procedures are carried out in an effective manner and in compliance with relevant legislation;
Assisting departments to understand the underlying legal issues related to environmental protection and workplace safety;
Staying abreast of changes and potential changes to legislation and helping to prepare plans to ensure compliance with the law;
Drafting contracts, agreements and other documents related to legal area;
Closely following the proposed or newly enacted laws of significance to the company;
Advising in Personal Data Protection to ensure data protection program delivery meets requirements;
Advising corporate governance activities, statutory and management meetings;
Keeping company statutory records, regulatory filings and registrations
Cerințe
Mandatory experience in a Law firm or a reputable company in a multimembers Legal department;
Experience in Corporate, Governance, Real Estate and Supply Chain;
Versed in contract management and drafting;
Able to design and implement the project phase including SOP drafting and implementation;
Knowledge of data protection, compliance program, debt recovery and guaranties associated with contractual obligation;
Experience with Labor Law and employment legislation (including litigation);
Experience with Administrative Law;
IP, competition, IT and consumers legislation experience would be a plus;
Environmental and authorization issues would be a plus;
License and/or Master Degree in Law;
Advanced MS Office skills;
Full English proficiency.
