For our client, an international company active in the wood processing industry, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join our client's team in Radauti, supporting the financial controlling activities across the company's profit centers and manufacturing operations.
Descriere
Planning and monitoring annual, monthly and periodic budgets and analyzing variances between budgeted and actual results;
Preparing and submitting financial and controlling reports to management;
Ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of financial and controlling data;
Preparing, reviewing and analyzing controlling reports for the profit centers in Radauti;
Monitoring fixed, variable and transportation costs and explaining deviations from budget;
Calculating and recording monthly adjustments related to revenues and costs transferred between profit centers;
Reviewing P&L transactions and proposing the necessary corrections related to cost centers and resources;
Reviewing and recalculating cost allocation keys and performing cost allocations in SAP;
Managing the financial year-end closing process and reviewing the related reports;
Preparing reconciliations between statutory accounting results and management-adjusted results;
Preparing files, analyses and presentations required for the annual budgeting process;
Importing and updating budgets in SAP;
Preparing and reviewing fixed assets reports;
Preparing consolidated analyses of costs and working hours related to equipment across the company's factories;
Supporting the preparation of financial analyses and management presentations;
Collaborating with operational departments to collect and validate information required for reporting;
Contributing to the improvement of controlling processes and procedures;
Participating in projects requested or initiated by management;
Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting legislation, internal policies and procedures, as well as reporting deadlines;
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial, accounting and controlling reports and analyses;
Performing assigned tasks accurately and within agreed deadlines;
Ensuring the optimal use of allocated financial, material, asset and human resources;
Maintaining a high level of professionalism in performing all assigned activities;
Maintaining the confidentiality of all financial and business information accessed during the course of work;
Following the company's general and specific working procedures, including working schedule, punctuality, accuracy and timely submission of reports.
Cerințe
3–5 years of relevant experience in Financial Controlling, Management Accounting or a similar position;
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;
Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, cost controlling and financial reporting;
Experience in analyzing budget vs. actual deviations and identifying the drivers behind financial performance;
Experience with cost allocation, cost centers and profit centers;
Practical experience with SAP, preferably in a financial controlling environment;
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex financial data;
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
